Urjanet’s Continued Innovation Drives Revenue Growth to Secure Gator100 Award

Continued revenue growth, driven by an emphasis on innovation, helped Urjanet land on University of Florida’s 2018 Gator100 list.

Urjanet announced today that because of continued revenue growth, driven by an emphasis on innovation, it has been named to the University of Florida’s 2018 Gator100.

Sponsored by the UF Alumni Association, in partnership with the UF Entrepreneurship & Innovation Center, the Gator100 recognizes the 100 fastest-growing businesses owned or led by UF alumni.  Ernst & Young calculated each company’s compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) over the past three years to generate the ranking.

Urjanet was ranked 10th out of 100 nominees with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 73.59%.

The Urjanet Utility Data Platform delivers a standardized, automated feed of utility bill and interval data from thousands of disparate sources – including more than 5,000 utilities – to software and services providers, Fortune 1,000 companies, government and education.

Malik is a seasoned entrepreneur and experienced executive who has built several successful technology businesses including Cognosos, which provides a LPWA IoT platform, Air2Web, a leader in mobile marketing services, and Synchrologic, a company that created the first enterprise class data synchronization platform for mobile devices.
