Sanjoy is a seasoned entrepreneur and experienced executive who has built and operated several successful technology businesses. In 1999 Sanjoy founded Air2Web, a leader in mobile marketing services. Under Sanjoy’s leadership Air2Web grew from a pioneering wireless services provider to become a market leader and global strategic mobile partner for over 100 of the most trusted brands in the world. Prior to Air2Web Sanjoy founded Synchrologic, a company that created the first enterprise class data synchronization platform for mobile devices. Sanjoy was responsible for raising venture capital, hiring a successful management team, and establishing partnerships with key industry leaders. Synchrologic was acquired by Intellisync which later became part of Nokia.
Erik is a technology executive with expertise in developing sales and marketing strategies for emerging technology companies, and scaling businesses once go-to-market plans are in place. Erik brings years of experience selling hardware, software, and SaaS-based solutions, through direct sales, reseller channels, and OEM relationships. He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Rochester.
Carter is a financial executive with expertise in growth, cloud-based technology, M & A, and strategic stewardship. Prior to joining Urjanet in 2014, Carter served as CFO of TRX, Inc, leading its sale to Concur Technologies in 2013. Earlier at TRX, Carter held progressive roles in finance and accounting, managing a global team and driving financial performance at the publicly traded company, as well as incubating its travel data intelligence platform. Before TRX, Carter worked in the audit practice at Arthur Andersen. Carter holds a B.S. in Commerce with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Virginia. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
Michael Pridemore is widely considered a pioneer of the email marketing and marketing automation software industry. Previously, he served as CEO and co-founder of Socketware, Inc. the maker of Accucast. He grew it to be a global leader in the space before its successful acquisition. He is also the founder of Sockethead Studios and uses his technology development and corporate management experience to create and market consumer applications. With a passion for helping entrepreneurs, Michael serves on corporate boards and is active in his community along with his wife Tricia. He is an alum of the University of Central Florida.
Shanker has more than two decades of diverse experience that includes developing software systems, leading engineering teams, and building software consulting and delivery organizations. Has a passion for building leading-edge technologies, and was previously co-founder of Symbioun Technologies, VP of Technology Services at Congruent, and served at Goldman Sachs and Siemens.
D.j. manages the strategic direction of Urjanet’s products and works closely with the engineering team to design and develop industry-leading technology for our customers. He has over a decade of experience in the energy management space with Macy’s Department Stores and Prenova. D.j. has a B.A. in psychology and history from the University of Georgia, and studied fine arts and history in Japan.
Tim is an entrepreneur with over a decade of experience building and selling products from the ground up. At Axim, he led the sales and development efforts to build an application that was sold to the San Francisco Giants. Tim’s most recent venture brought him to Urjanet where he built the first iteration of the product platform and today continues to shape the product strategy and roadmap. Tim holds a Computer Science degree from Georgia Tech.
Pruthvi is a Six Sigma Black Belt with project management, business analysis, and process improvement experience at TUUCI, Moog, and AIESEC. His expertise lies in helping organizations grow rapidly and sustainably by building reliable operations systems and teams. Pruthvi holds a Masters in Engineering Management from Dartmouth College and a B.E. in Computer Science.
Angela provides strategic direction to Urjanet’s brand awareness, demand generation, and sales enablement functions. She has over five years of experience in designing and executing high-performing marketing programs for B2B technology companies. Prior to joining Urjanet, she was an early employee at Cloud Sherpas before the company was acquired by Accenture in 2015. Angela holds a B.B.A. in Marketing from Emory University. Angela lives in Midtown Atlanta and enjoys photography, traveling, and sand volleyball.
Ramesh Iyer brings over 25 years of professional experience in corporate IT and entrepreneurship. He has consulted with Fortune 500 clients across the U.S., UK and India working for global IT organizations such as Tata and Wipro Technologies. He has played a myriad of roles spanning across global delivery, strategic client relationships and P&L responsibilities. Ramesh has also been a hobby entrepreneur, briefly managing digital solutions for corporations focusing on identity management using data and facial recognition products. He joined Urjanet in December 2016 as Head of Operations in Chennai, handling contractual SLAs, volume and data quality.
Adam has over a decade of sales and management experience. He spent 5 years with Newell Brands, and his last 5 years with several high-growth SaaS companies, building their business development teams. Adam is passionate about sales, marketing, and developing teams to exceed company goals. He joined Urjanet in early 2017, and manages the company’s business development team. Adam holds a B.S. in Marketing from Auburn University and lives in Atlanta with his wife and chocolate lab Arlie.

Pete Kight founded CheckFree in 1981 with a vision of providing electronic funds transfer services to businesses and consumers. Over the following 27 years, it became the standard for electronic bill payment. CheckFree, with revenues of $1.1 Billion, was sold to Fiserv, Inc. in December of 2007 for $4.4 Billion.
David Ratcliffe is the retired Chairman, President and CEO of Southern Company, one of America’s largest producers of electricity. Widely recognized for his leadership within the U.S. electric utility industry, David is a past chairman of the Edison Electric Institute.
Patricia Kemp is a General Partner with Oak HC/FT where she leads investments in the healthcare, financial services, and fintech industries. She has an active role in several company boards including Trov, Insureon, Poynt, Feedzai, FastPay, and FreshBooks. Patricia has a rich history in venture capital and strategic partnerships. She has an M.B.A. from Stanford University.
Steve Fredrick is a General Partner with Grotech Ventures where he leads investments in the enterprise software, security, and mobile sectors. He is active on several portfolio company boards including LogiXML, Invincea, Omnilink Systems, and TRAFFIQ. Steve co-founded software development firm MartinScott before transitioning into the venture industry in 1997.
