Sanjoy Malik
Chairman & CEO
Sanjoy is the founder and CEO of Urjanet, the world’s leading utility data aggregator, delivering data from more than 6,500 utility, telecom and cable providers across 47 countries. He is also a founder and current Chairman of Cognosos, a provider of real-time asset tracking and monitoring solutions powered by its innovative IoT platform. Sanjoy is a seasoned entrepreneur and experienced executive who has built and operated several other successful technology businesses. Previously, Sanjoy founded Air2Web, a leader in mobile marketing services. Under Sanjoy’s leadership, Air2Web grew from a pioneering wireless services provider to become a market leader and global strategic mobile partner for the most trusted brands in the world. Prior to Air2Web, Sanjoy founded Synchrologic, a company that created the first enterprise-class data synchronization platform for mobile devices. Synchrologic was acquired by Intellisync, which later became part of Nokia. Sanjoy serves on the Cox Cleantech Advisory Board, and is a founding member of the Atlanta chapter of TiE.
Erik Becker
SVP Corporate Development
Erik has over twenty years of leadership experience helping to grow technology businesses. At Urjanet he is responsible for corporate strategy, strategic alliances, utility outreach, and M&A activities. Prior to joining Urjanet, Erik held senior management roles in sales, marketing, and business development with both growth stage and mature technology companies. He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Rochester.
Carter Griffith
Chief Financial Officer
Carter is a financial executive with expertise in growth, cloud-based technology, M & A, and strategic stewardship. Prior to joining Urjanet in 2014, Carter served as CFO of TRX, Inc, leading its sale to Concur Technologies in 2013. Earlier at TRX, Carter held progressive roles in finance and accounting, managing a global team and driving financial performance at the publicly traded company, as well as incubating its travel data intelligence platform. Before TRX, Carter worked in the audit practice at Arthur Andersen. Carter holds a B.S. in Commerce with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Virginia. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
Ed English
Chief Product Officer
Edward English is product leader who designed, built and scaled software used by hundreds of millions of people around the world every day. He previously served as the Chief Product Officer for several venture backed enterprise SAAS companies, as well as managed a $2B product line for Microsoft. Early in his career he was a strategy consultant with Deloitte. Ed has a BS degree from Virginia Tech, an MBA from Indiana University as well as three patents in the field of applied computer vision and machine learning algorithms.
Michael Pridemore
Chief Technology Officer
Michael Pridemore is widely considered a pioneer of the email marketing and marketing automation software industry. Previously, he served as CEO and co-founder of Socketware, Inc. the maker of Accucast. He grew it to be a global leader in the space before its successful acquisition. He is also the founder of Sockethead Studios and uses his technology development and corporate management experience to create and market consumer applications. With a passion for helping entrepreneurs, Michael serves on corporate boards and is active in his community along with his wife Tricia. He is an alum of the University of Central Florida.
Iris Sullivan
Vice President of People
Iris started her career in recruitment and quickly branched out to lead other areas of human resources for various startups before starting her own Recruitment and HR consulting firm and operating it successfully for 5 years. After selling her company, Iris moved from Los Angeles to Atlanta to take her skill-set in-house and has been leading HR and People teams ever since. Iris also has advanced training in strategic leadership and management and organizational development.
Michael Logan
Vice President of Sales
Michael Logan brings over 25 years of experience in building world-class teams, driving shareholder value, and establishing market presence. Prior to joining Urjanet, Logan held senior management roles in sales and revenue growth at several software companies, including YouEarnedIt (now acquired by Vista Equity Partners) and Sprinklr, which he helped take from a 3MM to 100MM ARR run rate in three years. Logan is a husband and father of three, and enjoys mountain biking, working out, and the challenges of building startup businesses. He holds a BBA in Marketing & Advertising from the University of North Texas.
Patrick Turiano
Senior Vice President of Marketing
As Urjanet’s Senior Vice President of Marketing, Patrick Turiano leads a dynamic team of marketers responsible for the long-term strategy and day-to-day management of the company’s integrated marketing and branding efforts. He brings years of experience leading marketing teams and strategies for multiple organizations primarily in the fintech and financial services sectors. A Certified Payments Professional, Patrick owns a Master of Business Administration in Strategy and Marketing from Boston University’s Questrom School of Management and is a graduate from the University of Florida where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Business Administration. He was also named one of ETA’s Forty Under 40 honorees in 2020.
Pruthvi Desaraju
Vice President of Global Accounts
Pruthvi is a Six Sigma Black Belt with project management, business analysis, and process improvement experience at TUUCI, Moog, and AIESEC. His expertise lies in helping organizations grow rapidly and sustainably by building reliable operations systems and teams. Pruthvi holds a Masters in Engineering Management from Dartmouth College and a B.E. in Computer Science.
Natjasucha (Jam) Chanpen
Vice President of Customer Success
Jam has over 15 years of experience in client services and project management for SaaS companies serving Fortune 500 customers. Starting her career at PwC in Thailand, she has since managed client services and operations teams across North America, Asia, and Europe. Jam obtained an MS and MBA in Computer Information Systems from Georgia State University.

Prior to Air2Web Sanjoy founded Synchrologic, a company that created the first enterprise class data synchronization platform for mobile devices. Sanjoy was responsible for raising venture capital, hiring a successful management team, and establishing partnerships with key industry leaders. Synchrologic was acquired by Intellisync which later became part of Nokia.
Pete Kight
Founder, Former Chairman & CEO of CheckFree
Pete Kight founded CheckFree in 1981 with a vision of providing electronic funds transfer services to businesses and consumers. Over the following 27 years, it became the standard for electronic bill payment. CheckFree, with revenues of $1.1 Billion, was sold to Fiserv, Inc. in December of 2007 for $4.4 Billion.
David Ratcliffe
Retired Chairman & CEO of Southern Company
David Ratcliffe is the retired Chairman, President and CEO of Southern Company, one of America’s largest producers of electricity. Widely recognized for his leadership within the U.S. electric utility industry, David is a past chairman of the Edison Electric Institute.
