urjanet pacesetter 2016ATLANTA — April 21, 2016 — Urjanet, the world’s leading provider of automated utility bill and interval meter data, today announced the company has once again been named one of Atlanta’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies by the Atlanta Business Chronicle. The publication honored Urjanet at the 2016 Pacesetter Awards Ceremony held today at the Georgia Aquarium.

To qualify for the Pacesetter Awards, businesses must be privately owned, based in the 20-county metro area, and not be a subsidiary of another company. The firms also have to have been established in the first quarter of 2013 or earlier, experienced a two-year growth in sales of more than 50 percent, and earned revenue between $1 million and $300 million in 2015. Revenue growth and employee growth are both used to determine winners.

“It’s an honor to be recognized by the Atlanta Business Chronicle as one of Atlanta’s fastest-growing companies for the second year running,” said Sanjoy Malik, Urjanet’s CEO. “Our rapid growth, both in revenue and headcount, is yet another testament to the value market leaders find in high quality and timely utility data. Since going to market in 2012, our revenues have tripled annually and our workforce has grown from a small team in Atlanta to nearly 200 employees worldwide.”
