We’re seeking motivated, high energy sales representatives to help us accelerate our growth by recruiting and managing channel partners. As a member of our sales team, you’ll be calling on senior executives with energy management and sustainability software and service firms to offer them a SaaS-based subscription data service with a proven ROI.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of inside and/or outside sales experience in a partner sales organization
  • Track record of closing new business and consistently exceeding revenue targets
  • Proven ability to manage large numbers of active opportunities
  • Experience in the energy or sustainability space
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools (Salesforce.com preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a sales plan for a large territory
  • Interact with software and service providers in the energy management, sustainability, and accounts payable automation arena
  • Qualify new prospective companies and communicate Urjanet’s value proposition in written and oral forms
  • Manage a large pipeline of opportunities through the sales process
  • Meet or exceed individual monthly goals for pipeline growth and bookings
  • Manage the sales process with the use of phone, web, and other sales tools
  • Adhere to sales methodology and process
