Job Description

We’re currently seeking Business Development Representatives (BDR) to support our rapidly growing sales team by generating “sales ready” leads. We’re looking for high energy, self-motivated candidates with excellent interpersonal and phone skills that have a strong desire to jumpstart their career by joining an exceptional team. Our BDRs follow up on and qualify market generated inbound leads and create new leads via cold calls, email campaigns, referral sales, etc. The BDR team calls on energy management, procurement, sustainability, accounting and facilities groups in large corporations. Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Excellent verbal communication
  • Ability to make numerous cold calls to large businesses and organizations
  • Proficiency with email, specifically Gmail, as well as voicemail, MS Office, and Mac
  • Strong business acumen and ability to articulate a value proposition
  • Salesforce.com experience a plus

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Qualifying Marketing-generated leads
  • Researching companies, identify key decision makers, and develop sales leads
  • Strategic outreach (cold & warm) to businesses and organizations (50+ per day)
  • Scheduling qualified sales calls for sales reps
  • Update prospect activity in Salesforce.com
